 Assalamualaikum 💓

*tarik nafas dalam-dalam*

*hembus nafas sambil tiup blog yang dah sekian lama berhabuk*

Helloooo my baby blog! It's been more than a year since I last posted haha.

Macam biasalah. Kadang-kadang rasa nak menaip tapi mood tu tak cukup sampai. Nak menaip dekat phone pun takdan dah.

So, setahun dah berlalu. What's up? What's changed?

The biggest change in my life over the past year would be that, I'm married now! Alhamdulillah. Is it too late to write about the big day? Hahaha I guess it is, but you know what? I'm going to do it anyway!

Alhamdulillah, I'm married to A whom I talked about here last December. The preparations went well, although a bit stressful at times. I started my surveys and booked the big big stuff like the wedding hall, photographer, pelamin, MUA, etc. since the previous year. Why so early, if you ask me? Sebab aku taknak stress agshshs but at the same time need to make sure that you have surveyed enough and went through everything before you decide to go for the one.

I guess the top #1 thing that stressed me out was the pelamin/catering (same PIC). I booked them in Jan/Feb 2023. Everything was okay je, PIC pun baik and helpful. Problem dia satu je - kedai dia jauh dari rumah but since harga dia affordable and everything looked good, aku okay je. Tapi lama-lama jadi tak okay sebab rasa macam dia explain tak habis. A few times jugak kena berulang pergi kedai dia sebab nak double confirm information masa majlis tu. Sebab dekat whatsapp tu tah la nak reply nya lambat, lepastu kadang-kadang macam dia tak faham pulak apa aku tanya. Banyak sangat miscommunication. Tapi dia baik tapi ko faham tak 😭

Paling tak boleh go, untuk pelamin and deco tu, I requested colour all white + soft pink gitu. Macam 90% white, 10% soft pink. Kira taknak ada colour hijau daun tu langsung lah and dia pun macam "okay kita boleh buat". Tapi wahh. Sehari sebelum majlis, diorang sampai dewan lambat untuk setup, buat haku stress je malam tu. Pastu esok pagi-pagi bangun masa D-Day tu, tengok dia send gambar pelamin lagi rasa macam nak ngamuk tapi takleh ngamuk sebab nak kahwin agshshs. KENAPA ADA HIJAU DI SITUUU. HARITU KATA BOLEH BUAT TAPI KENAPA MASIH ADA HIJAU-HIJAUAN. Okay tutup cerita, dah hampir setahun dah. Masa tengok gambar dia send tu, I kept reminding myself like, "takpe benda dah jadi, tenang tenang just go with the flow".

Would I recommend them? Only the catering, yes, sebab makanan dia sedap and service pun bagus hewhew. Not the pelamin.

Okay back to the D-Day! Weirdly enough, alhamdulillah, aku sangatlah tenang before, during and after majlis haha. Pagi tu macam chill je, macam takde apa nak pergi nikah ni. Siap-siap, gelak-gelak apa semua, masih tenang. Knowing myself, I would have cried sebab nervous + rasa overwhelmed haha tapi alhamdulillah Allah kurniakan ketenangan luar biasa hari tu. Lepas nikah pun masih chill lagi. Ingatkan tengok mama nangis, aku nangis sekali tapi tidakk. Suami kita pulak yang nangis haha comel je 😂

Alhamdulillah. Segala puji bagi Allah. Everything went well. Syukur dikelilingi keluarga dan kawan-kawan yang baik. Yang membantu menenangkan jiwa raga.

----------------------------------------

The next news would be, alhamdulillah, we're blessed with a mini us inside me. I've started my maternity leave since our baby is due this week. I can't wait to meet these little kicks, but at the same time I'm feeling nervous.

My pregnancy journey is good, alhamdulillah. Tak ada craving yang bukan-bukan and in fact, the craving can wait haha opposite sangat dengan before pregnant. Sebelum ni, ada masanya bila craving tu boleh nangis kalau tak dapat ya 😂 Tapi alhamdulillah pregnancy craving ni memudahkan hehe. The worst part would be masa first trimester bila aku tak boleh nak bau masakan. Goreng ke rebus ke apa ke, semua tak boleh. Everything smelled nasty. Like I know it's just the smell of food tapi Ya Allah tak boleh tahan bau tu. I think it lasted until 4-5 bulan then it slowly disappeared. After that, bermulalah episod-episod sakit badan sampailah sekarang haha.

Lagi satu, emosi jadi lagi senang terganggu. Lagi senang menangis. Lagi-lagi bila overthinking ni, mulalah. Tiba-tiba je nangis. But that's normal je kan.

Insyaallah, doakan aku dan baby selamat dan sihat sepanjang proses sebelum, semasa dan selepas bersalin nanti. Insyaallah we can do this!

Till the next post!

 Assalamualaikum 💖

Hi there! I feel the urge to write today.

Nothing urgent, though. I just had the impulse to post a story on Instagram, describing my experience. But then it got too long and I thought, why not do it on my blog instead?

I truly, truly, miss writing. Writing makes me feel soooo good. It helps me to express my emotions, more so especially because I find it hard to talk about my feelings. My feelings are better expressed through writing, although I feel like I'm improving these days hahaha sebab whenever I feel like nak ngadu to my man, I always end up using voice note since I find it faster and easier. However, my thoughts are always better organized and let out through writing. It's more detailed since all thoughts that I have in my head are let out. It also helps me to remember the stories and certain emotions that come with them. I LOVE IT.

That's what writing does for me, even though I rarely write these days. I just find it to be a hassle to switch on my laptop to write on my blog. I can write on my phone, sure, but it doesn't feel the same. I love the feeling and sound of the clacking keyboard when I write a full length story. My phone pun ada that keyboard sound, but it's not the same. Nak tulis physically? Lagilah malas 😭 My handwriting has been getting so bad after I graduated secondary school. It's like doctor's handwriting in which only I can understand. One time, my ex-manager saw my handwriting and said "jarang tengok perempuan tulisan macam ni". Hahaha I was not offended; I was more like in an utter disbelief and amusement at the same time because he actually has the same handwriting as me! 😂

But anyway, I want to write on my experience meeting doctors regarding period pain.

My period pain can get extreme at times. To the point that I would throw up or get diarrhea with it. Usually, when I experience the extreme pain, I would take a leave from work. But there was one time last year that I decided to get an MC instead in order to get a diagnosis from the doctor; is my condition normal or not? When I met the doctor and told him that I was having period pain, he snickered. As if my pain wasn't enough, I had to meet this scornful doctor who might have thought my condition was like "meh". Ugh. Since then, I never went to doctors again for period pain issues.

However, this time, I just started working at my new company. Alhamdulillah, overall, it's been good. I might talk about this in some other posts if I rajin haha. Since I've only been there for two months, I didn't want to take too many leaves just yet. So I had no other choice than to take an MC.

I went to the clinic, secretly hoping that I'll meet a female doctor who would understand me. But as I opened the door to the treatment room, I saw a male figure behind the desk. There was an immediate mixture of disappointment and hope at that moment. I felt skeptical towards the doctor due to my previous experience, but to my surprise, he was nothing like what I thought. Astaghfirullah, I should have husnudzon towards him. He looked concerned about my pain and gave me an injection of painkillers, which was probably the most painful injection I have ever received. The pain lingered on for soooo long until I reached home. But as the pain on my arm subsided, my menstrual cramps did, too. Alhamdulillah.

And that's the story of me who stereotyped male doctors haha. Just like how not all flowers look the same, I shouldn't have judged them to have the same mindset when it comes to period pain. It's just unfair of me to do that. My faith in humanity has been restored hewhew.

Till the next post!

 Assalamualaikum 💓

You have no idea how thrilled I am to be writing this. It feels like I'm meeting my crush for the first time and I can feel all the butterflies in my stomach!

I say this every time but I MISS WRITING I MISS MY BLOG okbye.

Anyway, HIIIIIII IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I WAS HERE OMG *tiup habuk*. I don't know where to start. So many things have been happening since the past year. I didn't even get to do an end-of-year or new year posts :(

I guess I'll start with the major thing that's happening to me right now. Well, I've resigned from my job which I held onto for two years now. Like, finally it happened.

Let's go back to the very beginning of the story.

I was actually sick when I received a call from Company B one day, saying that I passed the interview! Alhamdulillah. I prepared my resignation letter and went to the bookstore to print it out. At the bookstore, I met the same person who previously helped me print out my resumes, application forms, etc. But that very day, I came back to print out my resignation letter. In my head, I was thinking. If this guy actually remembered me, I might be like one live storybook he's met in his life, in which he was reading the next chapter now. It's interesting to me, the fact that he's met countless people who come to the bookstore, carrying a different story each day. But of course, it would actually be difficult to remember everyone who comes to the store.

Lari topik dah ni. Hahaha. Anyway, I submitted the letter to my superior the next day. As he was congratulating me, I cried. He didn't even say anything sad but I felt sad aggdgh I cannot brain myself lah. My days continued as per usual for 1.5 months as though I never turned in that letter. Even on my last day, I was still pushing to complete my tasks hsshhs.

The weird thing is, I didn't feel all that sad to leave. I thought I would be crying like crazy on my last day, but I didn't. Sure, I cried during the farewell event the previous day but that's only because my close buddy started to cry. I guess I didn't know how to feel then. The excitement for raya might have also influenced my emotions haha since my last day was on 20 April 2023.

But, well, farewell my first job. It's been a truly harsh but fun ride. Hoping to still see my close friends in the future, insyallah.

What's next? I've been on a 1-week break since I resigned, and it's been wonderful. Whenever I reached my limit, I always wished that I could take a break for one week. Just one week and I'd be fine. And I'm having that break now after soooo long. Alhamdulillah.

I pray that my next journey is one that is blessed by Allah in every step that I take.

Till the next post!

 Assalamualaikum 💕

The next thing to update would be...

Thanks to Ain for this beautiful hand bouquet!💓

Alhamdulillah, on 16th July 2022, I got engaged!

On the day itself, I got so nervous to the point that I almost cried. Luckily, my friends came earlier so they were there to support me. When it was time for me to come out and meet his family, that's when the nerves started kicking in and it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my body. Farah hugged me but I was like "no don't hug me I'm going to cry" ahaha and I held her hand tightly and asked her to come with me HAHA.

Haih nervous gila. Everything and everyone felt like a blur. I couldn't focus at all. The last time I felt that nervous was during JPJ test haha. But alhamdulillah, everything went well and I feel grateful for it 💓 I won't go into much detail hihi.

With this tied knot, may our relationship be blessed and eased until we get married and until Jannah insyaallah 💓 Semoga terus bertahan dengan perangai saya yang entah apa-apa ni 😂

To the readers, please pray for us, and I pray that you be blessed in everything you do 💙

 Assalamualaikum 💝

Hello! It's the end of July already. I feel like writing after soooooo long. This post would be a collection of my life updates that I can think of since my last post.

Edit: This post is dedicated to my wisdom tooth extraction since it got way longer that I expected haha other updates will be in the next post (I presume).

---

It started a week after Hari Raya Puasa. My teeth on the right side of my mouth were aching but I couldn't pinpoint which one. I let it be for a few days, thinking the pain might go away soon but girl was I wrong. I remember having a big meeting one day and it started hurting so bad that I felt angry haha.

The next day, I went to see the dental clinic I frequented to previously for my braces. My usual dentist wasn't there, so another dentist did a check-up on me. He suspected that it was my sunken wisdom tooth that's causing the pain, so he took an X-Ray. It turned out my wisdom tooth was decaying and it was starting to affect my nerves (the very reason why it was affecting the whole teeth on the right side).

I could only laugh when I heard the news because I knew what that meant; that tooth needs to be extracted. When I had my braces on, my dentist told me a few times that I might need to extract that wisdom tooth since it was hard to clean (sunken to one side) and not useful anyway. But I didn't want to proceed because in order to get rid of it, I need to go through a minor surgery and that scared me.

I avoided the topic quite a few times up until my last appointment and POOF! I had to face it again this time. Sigh. I remember the doctor saying,

"I think Dr. XX pernah suruh you cabut gigi ni kan"

and I laughed awkwardly together with him😂 Welp, there was no escape this time. The next week, I went to the public dental clinic because a private one would be too expensive 😐 The dentist there also took an X-Ray and said the same thing. I booked for an appointment for the wisdom tooth extraction. Usually, it would take a while before they call you to confirm the date but alhamdulillah, that afternoon I got a call saying that someone cancelled their appointment so there's a free slot for me the next day.

And there I went.

To be honest, I wasn't THAT nervous because I felt like I've been there before. I got a few of my teeth extracted before and it hurt, but wasn't so bad. However, it was a minor surgery this time. Someone told me they couldn't eat for one whole week because of the pain, took them weeks to recover. That's what made me nervous.

When I entered the room, there was a dentist and her assistant (maybe, I'm not quite sure). I signed an agreement on the risks of the surgery etc etc. I was given anaesthetic at three points in my mouth and it HURT but was expected. When my mouth felt numb, the dentist made her way to the wisdom (probably stupid) tooth.

I didn't feel pain at first, but I could hear and kind of feel the whole process. I don't know what exactly was being grinded; was it the bone or the gums? After a while, the pain started knocking in when they were tearing at my tooth, trying to pluck it out. It was so painful to the point that I almost laughed in the middle of the surgery. Bruh it's still funny to think about that moment 😂 Imagine if I actually started laughing while they were doing their job. Mesti diorang fikir "wah budak ni sakit sampai jadi gila ke"😂

I thought that was painful enough, but I was wrong. Again. The pain gradually increased. I was fighting off the pain but at one point, I started to cry. My tears just flowed down my cheek and the dentist got worried. To be fair, the anaesthetics worked just fine but it's not helping when someone is trying to take off a tooth buried deep inside your gums.

I got so tired, slowly getting really exhausted. My whole body felt weak. I gave up. There was no way I could fight it. The corners of my mouth were dry and hurting. I felt dizzy, the terrible headache kept coming at the back of my head all the time when I was holding the pain and tears. The pain was so dreadful to the point that I prayed for Allah to take me immediately if the time has come for me to go.

It was unbearable. That was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. Not even my awful menstrual cramps can beat that.

It took nearly two hours to get the whole thing done. The people there asked if I was okay, and I said yes. But once I was out of the room, I started crying. All the tears that I had been holding in just burst out. I walked my way to the pharmacy. It was 5.30pm at the time, and the pharmacy was closed. But there was someone there, so I asked if I could still get the medicines prescripted. At first, he said no. But after looking at me, he asked for my prescription and asked me to wait. It was probably because of my red eyes.

When I was waiting in front of the pharmacy, the assistant (?) came and checked on me. But I was crying so badly so I gave him a thumbs up while crying HAHAHA ARGH THAT WAS SO EMBARRASSING 😂 He asked me if someone was picking me up, I said I drove there and started crying even harder ahshsh and then he left. I think he said something else but I don't remember.

After the guy left, I couldn't control my tears anymore. It wasn't much because of the pain, but I just felt so so sad that I had to go through such extreme pain and had been holding it for two hours and I was alone then. By the time the pharmacist came, I was crying and sobbing like a little kid. Even the way he spoke to me was like conversing with a child HAHA because I was listening to him while sobbing. I don't even remember much of what he said.

But I feel thankful for all the kind words and empathy I received that day.

My drive home was full of tears and pain. The pain got extremely horrible as the anaesthetics went away. I couldn't even fall asleep the first night. My energy was gone but it was too painful for me to sleep it off. My face got swollen the next day and I swear half of my face looked like Adudu hahaha. The corners of my mouth were torn. I put serum and Bio-Oil on the wound. It worked wonders! Alhamdulillah, after around three days, the wound started healing and no scar was left behind.

Overall, I think it took me around three weeks for the pain to completely go away. It was a scary experience but I'm glad I did it. Otherwise, my teeth would still be aching to this day.

Till the next post!

 Assalamualaikum

I guess this is the first official post of 2022. Terkejut tengok last post tahun 2021 hshshs.

Sooooooo mmmm let's not beat around the bush. I'm back here because I feel like writing about someone.

His name is A.

💖

I don't know what exactly should I write about, to be honest. But he deserves a post.

I first met him less than a year ago. We were just friends then. It wasn't until the first day of 2022 that I found out he has liked me for a while; probably since Day 1 aha.

Argh malu pulak nak tulis.

But anyway, I thought I should give it a go, so we started to get to know each other. Slowly but surely, as time passed, I started to fall for him.

I don't know why but in less than three months, he has witnessed the inferior parts of me a couple of times. First one; we met up but my most introverted self came out that day. I couldn't get myself to talk to anyone else - not even up for smiling to strangers bruh much less order myself a drink 😂 When he wanted to leave to get something from his car, I was like "NOPE LET ME GET THAT FOR YOU" ahshsh he must be so confused 😂 There's no way you're going to leave me alone in that state 😤

Second one; I was on my first day of period and there came the menstrual cramps. We were out at that time and had to stop twice because I felt like throwing up. Even when I tried to sleep it off, it didn't work 😩 It was so so painful ugh that was one of the terrible ones and he was there with me.

And many other instances when I was on my bad days and guess what? He handled them all well. He calms me down when I panic, listens and supports me when I rant (even about the smallest and stupidest things), cheers me up when I'm down, and so many more. He's always enthusiastic to talk to me, and so am I to him. Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve this much kindness from him but alhamdulillah I'm grateful to have him in my life now. He accepts me for who I am and I couldn't ask for more 💓

If somehow you're reading this, I want you to know that you are one of my sources of happiness in this world now, and may it be that way until Jannah. Thank you for coming into my life. I hope you'll be here to stay forever.

May Allah ease everything for us 💖

 Assalamualaikum

A-yo. It's been too long. Wayyyy too long since I last wrote. Almost six months ago.

Setiap weekend rasa nak menaip. Tapi siapalah aku untuk melawan kemalasan dalam jiwa raga ini. Rasa rindu, tapi boleh buat apa je kalau setiap kali nak menaip, rasa malas tu muncul. Saya hanya menurut kata hati.

Kah.

An update from the last post: Alhamdulillah, I survived. It's going to be 8 months soon. Masa berlalu cepat sangat sampai aku terkejut dah nak 8 bulan. Ingatkan baru 6 bulan. Dah macam-macam jadi sejak aku last post dekat sini.

Honestly, aku pun tak tahu nak cakap pasal apa. Tapi mood dah sampai, so aku pilih untuk menaip tanpa henti. Let the thoughts flow into words without a need for thinking.

The one colleague who helped me get through my tough times is resigning this Friday. She's the reason I survived. Now that she's going to leave, I feel a bit lost. Like what's the meaning of life? Haha. When she first announced that she's resigning, I still remember being in denial and shock at the same time. And I started to sob uncontrollably and tried to hide my tears but when my manager said "Don't cry", I cried even harder. I ran to the toilet and cried together with my friend.

Life's tough, you know? But what's life without tests and difficulties?

I did my MBTI test just now. I expected my MBTI to change because I felt like I've changed since I started working. But nope, I still got an ISFP haha. The reason I was expecting a change is because I used to be an ISFJ. But after my life went downhill and I got back up, it changed to ISFP.

I'm feeling a bit savage these days. Probably because my ally is resigning, but I've entered that era moreugetda stage. I don't know how I will get by after she leaves. For now, I'm just going to appreciate the 5 days I have left with her.

I don't know man. I'm just going to face life head on and enjoy the ride.

Till the next post!

 Assalamualaikum 💖

Hello. After three months, I'm finally here.

I want to ask myself, "How's life?" but the only answer that comes out is,

"It's hard."

Well, actually it's a bit vague. It's hard, but I'm surviving. I'm trying my best to look at things positively.

Overall, it just feels like my effort is not enough, no matter what I do. I want to do more and be better, but I don't know where to start.

---

I accepted a job offer over a month ago, knowing full well that the company is fast-paced. Everyone at the company warned me, but I took it as a challenge because there's nothing impossible to achieve in this world.

But little did I know, I overestimated myself. My head keeps nagging me, "It's not even that hard. What are you so slow for?" but my inner self is struggling a lot to meet my brain's demand. To meet everyone's demand.

I thought I was good at multitasking until I came here. I used to be so good at juggling, but right now there are too many balls to juggle to the point that my hands can't keep up.

There were many instances when I wanted to give up, but I can't. Not until I achieve my goals. My ultimate goals in life.

Fret not, everyone at the company is really nice and willing to help me. But it's also normal to get scolded if you mess up, or if you're too slow. That's all.

This is dramatic but last week I finished my work at 7pm and when I saw the sunset as I was driving, I cried. I love sunsets. I really do. But that was the first time I cried when watching the sun set. I guess all the burden I had been feeling just flowed out then. I didn't even realize I had been suppressing all those emotions in me. I kept brainwashing myself "It's okay, it's okay. You can do this!" without knowing that would mentally harm me.

Someday, insyaallah, I'll make it. Pray for me.

Meanwhile, I'll keep giving my best and surviving.

Until I really survive.

P.S. I miss writing.

Till the next post!💕

 Assalamualaikum 💖

Hello. I'm procrastinating. And I'm not proud of it. Thank you.

I should've done this weeks ago. Probably months. But it's something that I loathe so I kept putting it off to tomorrow, tomorrow and another tomorrow. Until today comes. I hope I'll be done with it by midnight and not procrastinate again.

If I can earn money through procrastinating. I'd be a billionaire by now.

I have a dream. Or maybe a goal. It makes me so happy just thinking about it.

I want to get a job that pays well, with passive income in my bank account every month. I don't know that much about passive income but I hope the income keeps increasing every single day until the day comes when it's unnecessary for me to go to work. But I'll keep working anyway because what else am I supposed to do then?

With that much income per month, I hope to be able to support my parents so they won't have to work anymore. They can just rest at home and do anything that they want to without having to think about persevering through another hard day at work tomorrow. They can buy anything that they want to, do activities, go on vacations; literally anything that has been on their wishlist all this while. They have sacrificed a lot for me and my family. Their bright youth days were gone as they were busy providing for us four siblings, which I feel really grateful but sorry for. So yes, they deserve all the happiness and comfort in this world. I want to be the one to take care of them now.

I don't wish to live a luxurious life. I'm content with the way things are now, but I really pray that I can make life better for my parents. Earning enough to provide for my parents and family is my ultimate goal. It would be even better if I have some extra income that I can share with people in need. I'll start with my relatives, and followed by just anyone in this world who needs it. Contributing to Islam at the same time. I've always wished I could help more people going through hard times financially, so I think I'd feel much happier if I could do this. I'll save aside some money in case of emergency as well.

My heart's beating fast at the thought of all this happening. Being able to make the world a better place for my parents, family, friends and everyone else. I guess this is the definition of success.

I aspire to be this kind of person.

Ya Allah, guide me to be someone capable of doing all these.

 Assalamualaikum 💖

Well hellooooooo there! This is so awkward.

I'm unofficially done with my final semester last month, and have been on the mission of job hunting ever since. Some days I felt reeaaaalllyy happy only to end up feeling jumpy in the evening. And it's mostly due to my overthinking when I still hadn't received any calls for interviews. A few of my friends have started working already and that makes me nervous.

Bro it's only been a month. I don't know why I kept feeling that way. All the while I was going through that, somehow I kept encountering posts saying things like, "Leave your future to Allah.", "Syaitan loves it when you worry about your future and past.", and "Rezeki tak pernah salah alamat.". At that time, I felt like, I know. I know all that. But it's so hard to stop thinking and worrying. I wanted to work and help my family out but why couldn't I land myself a job? I realized that I wasn't trying hard enough, but I didn't know what to do for my effort to be enough.

It reached a point where I could feel myself straying away from Allah because of all those worries I had. I wanted to have faith that everything's going to be alright and that Allah will give the best for me sooner or later, but I swear it was so difficult to do that. I wanted to succeed in my life here but it felt like I was going to fail in the akhirah if I kept acting that way. I felt so lost, thinking why can't I succeed in both worlds? I wanted to succeed so much in this world but what's the point if the success is temporary?

The note I wrote on my phone.
The note I wrote on my phone.

Then I figured that I probably could, if I could balance both worlds. I slowed down the job seeking process for a while to get rid of my worries. I tried to listen to Islamic lectures and improve my solat just to feel closer to Allah again. Just to at least feel His presence. I haven't been very consistent but I do feel calmer and happier now. If I could istiqamah on this, I can imagine how much more content and happier I will be. I'm not saying that I don't worry at all nowadays, because I still do, but not as frequent and bad as before. Alhamdulillah.

I'm not a perfect person, and I'm not writing this to show myself being something that I'm not. I'm still trying to improve myself. I just wanted to say how much happier we will be if Allah is present in our hearts. I felt it this time around, although not fully as I'm still struggling to khusyu' when performing my prayers. I wanted to say that, when we worry too much about our future, we just kind of forget to live in the present. It would be much better if we leave all our worries to Allah and ask for His help. And lastly, I wanted to say that, the closer our hearts are to Allah, the more peaceful our lives will be, insyaallah.

May Allah help us in our journey to become better Muslims.

Till the next post!💞

Assalamualaikum 💖

Selamat hari raya everyone! (Too late I know but still) (I found the emojis again 😜)

So how was your raya this year? Mine was still as lively as before. Alhamdulillah. My aunt's family came over and we celebrated the day with them. I'm grateful that I still have my family with me this raya as well.

There's another thing for me to be grateful for.

A lot of things have been revealed and resolved the past week between me and my friends. All the unsaid things, all the fears within, all the ties broken. Things that, for years, I thought I could never find the answers to. But they were fixed in just A WEEK. We've been holding the emotions in for so long, so long that I have actually forgotten most parts of it and moved on.

But guess what? It turns out that this all happened because of lies. Lies that once cracked our friendships. Lies that made us go through hell. Lies that, for some reason, we bought. It was stupid, I know. But I'm glad that we reached out to each other this time around and united against a liar.

I'm happy to have my friends back as a whole. No more of us being wary of each other. I'm happy that we chose to trust each other this time. But I'm upset that it took us this long to resolve the misunderstandings. We wasted so much time that we could have spent together by doubting one another. I feel extremely sorry for this.

It kind of reminds me of Dilan and Milea; how they misunderstood each other and only realized it when there was no going back. It was too late for them, but luckily, not for us. I don't even know how to describe how thankful I am. Alhamdulillah.

P.S. Lesson learned. Always trust your guts. They could be right.

Till the next post! 🎈

Assalamualaikum.

WOW I HAVEN'T BEEN HERE FOR SO LONG AND NOW BLOGGER HAS CHANGED HAHA. I can't even find the emojis anywhere sheesh I'm too used to expressing myself using emojis. My writing feels angry when there isn't one. Or am I the only one who feels this way?

I honestly don't know why I'm here. I did my online presentation on green awareness today. Like finally, I got the chance to. It's a "first come, first serve" kind of presentation, so everyone was trying to seize the opportunity to present. I've been practising for two days and if I still didn't get to present today, I even thought of giving up lol.

How's life? Life's been good, alhamdulillah. A quick summary of 2020 so far:

I finished my final exams in January, that was the last time I saw my classmates.

After the exams, I went hiking with Hazim at Bukit Batu Putih, which was much much easier than Gunung Datuk. But the route to and from the beach was super hard and steep bruh me being me, I wanted to give up. But that was nothing compared to my prior experience. At least I didn't cry this time.
(Note to self: Buy a new pair of sports shoes if you want to go hiking again.)

I underwent internship at RAYMINTEX, Nuklear Malaysia for eight weeks. I loved it there. I don't know if I said this in my previous post. but everyone was really nice. They taught us instead of scolding. They showed us instead of ordering. Everyone was just very very helpful and accommodating. To be very honest, I didn't want to leave that place. I would really love to work with them. During my first week there, I even said that I had a feeling that I was going to miss this place. Farewell is always a huge problem to me because I just have this huge attachment to things that make me happy. I'm hoping to see them again someday. And that was also the last time I saw my other classmates undergoing internship at Nuklear Malaysia.

MCO happened. I've gone out exactly twice since then. It doesn't really bother me that I can't go out though. That's how much of a homebody I am. It feels nice to spend every day with my family. I do miss my friends sometimes but that's about it. UiTM also decided that there would only be online classes this semester. That means the next time I'm going to see my classmates is during our graduation day.

I don't think much has happened since then. Aside from online classes and assignments. There are times when I'd think about my future. What am I going to do for work, am I going to pass the interviews, will I be able to repay my parents' hard work in raising me, will I be able to take care of them the way they have been caring for me. I think about all those stuff.

Life is hard, adulting is even harder.

I'm thinking of editing my blog again. Someday.
I ALSO NEED TO FIGURE OUT HOW THIS NEW BLOGGER WORKS.

Take care everyone.
Stay home, and if you can't, stay safe.
Wash your hands frequently,
wear face masks if you're sick,
avoid crowded public areas,
and practise social distancing.

Praying for everyone's health and safety. Do pray for mine and my family's too.

Till the next post!

Assalamualaikum 💖

My first post of 2020.

It's funny how my last post was on wearing braces. It's like I put on braces and poof I just disappeared without a trace, when in fact, a lot of things have happened since then. I mean it's been months, of course lots of things would have happened.

I do write sometimes, but I only have them saved in my phone. Things like my emotions, my thoughts, my dreams. Simple stuff, but ones I'd like to express at once. They're personal and I wouldn't upload them anywhere unless I feel like it.

I always write down my dreams (not dreams as in what I want to do in the future, but dreams as in the ones you have when you sleep), but not all of them. Only ones that I'd like to remember for a long time. Because once, they made me feel good when I woke up, and I want to carry that feeling in my writing, so that I can feel the emotion again in the future. I love doing it. Writing just gives you that satisfaction.

I don't have a talent for poems, but I love writing them as well! Mostly in English and Malay. I wrote one in Korean, and another one in Indonesian (Dilan is to blame). They are not exactly beautiful but the emotions I felt when I wrote them are carried in every word. For example when I wrote about my crush, and I read it now, I can still feel how fresh my feelings for him were. When we first met. When I started liking him. When I first realized it. That exact feeling right there, I can feel it. You know what I mean?

My own words carry that much impact on me.

Perhaps that's the reason my blog still lives, while others have abandoned theirs. Writing heals me. I let off some burdens through writing. I express my emotions through writing. When I don't blog, I write on my phone. Sometimes on paper, but rarely. Aaaanndd I also love to read my writings.💖 Again and again and again. Be it on this blog, my phone, or Twitter. I hope I'm not the only one who does this?😂

I can't remember if I've said this before, but because I loved books so much, I used to want to be a writer. I mean, I still do, if I could, but I don't have the confidence to do it anymore. I don't possess a variety of imaginations as I once had, so I don't think I can pull off creating an interesting world that draws readers in. Even if I could, I don't know if I could continue the story or end it well. It's been ages since I wrote short stories so ugh. I would probably try writing one again someday (when will that day come, or will it ever come, I don't know for certain). I'd love to do it as a hobby.😝

Oh man I've strayed too far. I was actually here to write on life update since it's been so long. But here we are. I'm not even surprised anymore.😂 I'm not that talkative in real life but I sure talk a lot when I write. Guess I'll write that in another post then.😂

Till the next post!💕

P.S. I just remembered that it used to be "annyeong goodbye adios" (a long time ago). I don't know how and when it changed to "till the next post" but I like it 😝

Assalamualaikum💖

Hello there! I've been avoiding this blog for some time now hahaha. I said that I'd talk about what I did last February this semester break, but ha I guess kata-kataku hanya mimpi di siang hari. The break is going to be over in two days bruh and I still haven't started so I'm just going to tell you what happened. Actually,

*drum rolls*

I went to South Korea with my siblings! This was something very unplanned. On all the ten days of my stay there, I'd find some time to write everything that I did on that day. Why? I WAS SO EAGER TO WRITE ABOUT IT ON MY BLOG.😂 I didn't want to forget anything. All the experiences are here, and they're just waiting to be uploaded on Le Journey. It's been six months now duh I don't even know when I will actually upload them. I'm starting my fifth semester soon, and then there's my internship, and my final semester. But insyaallah I promise I'll upload them though even if it's messy. I don't really want to disappoint the Feb 2019 me. 😩

For today, I'm going to talk about something else. I'm wearing braces!! 😆 It's been ten days now. The reason that I'm wearing braces is that I have overbite and overlapping bottom teeth. They're not so severe that people would notice them right away, but they've always been a part of my insecurities. I had no problems with it as I was growing up, like I've embraced that part of me but the insecurity would just creep back in at random times. You know what I mean?

I only realized that my teeth were different from others when I was in primary school. I never really noticed that I couldn't close my mouth naturally. I thought it was normal that way until my sister asked me to close my mouth and I was like "I AM closing my mouth what do you mean??" Then I brought my lips together and thought, "Oh. I wasn't." Since then, I practiced closing my mouth until it only felt natural to do so. The same goes for my other insecurity; my nose. Honestly, this is like my main insecurity since it's clearly visible.

Here's the thing though. I've embraced my insecurities as time passes by. I'm totally fine with them now and I'm able to just brush off jokes about them. But the insecurities would attack me if people keep mentioning them way too many times in a single conversation. I'm fine once it's over though. I enjoy being with myself, you see. I can't let people's negativity ruin my joy.

However, back then, when I was a child, I could not be okay just like that. You make fun of me, I get nervous and pretend to laugh it off, but deep inside I think of all sorts of negative things. "Why am I different from others? Why do I have to look like this? Why can't I be perfect like others? Am I ugly?" It was endless. It didn't happen that often but every time it did, I'd remember. Most adults would say nice things, but others couldn't be as kind. I would avoid the person who said it in fear of them repeating the same thing to me. I couldn't handle it. I was embarrassed for having these facial features whenever someone said those stuff about me. I was a child who didn't understand what "embrace your insecurities" meant. As far as I remember, I've never told this to anyone, not even to my parents, as I thought it was embarrassing (although my parents didn't make fun of me). It got better as time passed though, since I started to accept myself as who I was.

Next time you want to make fun of a child, think again. You might just want to joke around and be funny, but it's not funny to the child. If the child doesn't feel insecure about it, then it's fine. But what if he/she does? It's not something that you can see, so the best way is to just stop making fun of something they could be insecure about.

Don't misunderstand though. I had a really happy childhood.😂 I'm just saying what could happen if you ridicule a child.

Anyway, I've actually wanted to put on braces since my school days, but whenever the topic came up I would dismiss it because I was scared. I'm not very pain-tolerant so yeah. Last May/June, I went for teeth scaling and thought, should I really wear braces now? I couldn't make up my mind so it took me a while before I finally decided to just do it. If I'm really going to wear them someday, I better do it now. And I finally did on 21/8/2019. Phew.

The process of putting on braces didn't hurt at all, but the aftereffects though... That's what hurt. I read this blog where she said that her teeth felt weak (?) something like that so she couldn't eat anything the first week. I didn't understand this at first. I felt like it's impossible for your teeth to behave that way. After I left the clinic, my teeth felt somewhat tight and I nearly cried while eating my McD porridge :') At that time my teeth didn't hurt that much when I bit the chicken but it just felt awkward having those metals in my mouth. The next day? Bruh I couldn't bite a thing doh even the softest food and I was like "what the heck is wrong with my teeth😂". It hurt when I tried to bite anything weh I never thought it was possible.

The first time I looked at myself in the mirror after putting on the braces, I thought I made the worst decision in my life. I looked ugly. Hazim sent me a picture of a sloth wearing braces two days before and I looked exactly like that. He said I was going to be a nerd and I really did. It's not like I didn't expect myself to look ugly but man the reality hit me. I felt like taking off the braces instantly.

A new point of insecurity arose and I didn't know how to overcome that because I felt ugly all the time. The fourth day, I cried. I regretted deciding to wear braces as I was already fine and not insecure about my teeth. Now what? Another insecurity crept in making me feel miserable. I couldn't close my mouth naturally before, and now, it's even more so because of the metals. But I practiced, just like I did last time, and today I'm able to bring my lips together at ease. It's been ten days now, and I'm proud to say that I'm overcoming this new insecurity of mine!! I even met up with my friends the other day so I guess it's a progress hehe.

To anyone with insecurities, I hope you'll find a way to cope with them and accept yourself as you are. Nobody is perfect. Some people might seem like they are, but even they, too, have insecurities. So embrace your insecurities, and love yourself more!💕

P.S. Happy 62nd Independence Day to my beloved country, Malaysia!💖

Assalamualaikum 💖

Hiluuu I'm backk, signalling the end of my second year at UiTM hehe. I took the final paper last week and phew alhamdulillah I was just so so glad that my fourth semester was over. I desperately wanted the semester to end man the suffocation was real.

Anyway, two days after the last paper, I went on a trip to Ipoh with my family. Coincidentally (or not😏), my birthday fell on our last day in Ipoh. We had a little celebration with a small cake the night before and I just felt thankful for that. Thankful to have my loved ones with me, and thankful that Allah still allowed me more time with them.

Before we went home on Sunday, we dropped by Cameron Highlands just to have all the strawberry dishes we couldn't have last time. Hahaha so last year we went there during Ramadhan (I still wonder why we did that) so we couldn't enjoy the chocolate-dipped strawberries, waffles and all that ugh it was a bit frustrating.😂 This time we came just to eat these and left afterwards. Bruh it's still funny to me.😂😂

Later that night, when we reached Seremban, we went out again together with my bro and grandma (they couldn't come with us for the vacation) for a second celebration. Wee this was the first time that I had two cakes for my birthday. I guess I'm really 22 now. 😂

Regardless, I was actually already content with my birthday since I got to spend it with my family, all day long. I felt grateful (hyped) to have them with me. Be it visiting places, or sitting in the car for hours, I didn't mind as long as my family was around. Thank you mama, ayah, nenek, akak, angah and Iman for existing and staying with me through all these years.😘 Thank you for just being there for me.💕

Man I feel like crying now.😭

---

Okay let's move on, shall we? Before that, I need to get ready untuk baper. Lagi dan lagi dan lagi.

Yesterday, I went to watch Dilan 1991 with my sister. Guess what? Gw baper berat. Berat yang teramat. Kejap-kejap menangis eh I couldn't even count how many times tears just rolled down my cheeks. Man it's damn sad like I really ship Dilan and Milea and now whaatttt. I already read on Twitter beforehand, that it wasn't going to be a happy ending. Yet I still wasn't prepared for it. Not just the ending, but wayyyy before that lagi aku dah nangis bruh I was too emotional. Especially when it came to Milea crying in front of her Ibu and Bunda, my emotions just burst like wow I could feel her. EEEE DILAN PUN SATU HAL TAU NI LAGI SATU PUNCA AKU NANGIS.😭😭 In the last scene pun, Milea tak nangis tapi end up aku yang mengalir air mata tak sudah-sudah.😭

I guess the actors just pulled the acts off really well sampai aku baper teruk macam ni. Sampai sekaranglah tak move on lagi. Aih I just want the next movie to come out already. 😞 Meanwhile I'm going to finish reading the three Dilan novels first. Aih I'm so in love. Dilan is cheesy in such a way that makes me cringe, but I still love him because his every word is just unpredictable. Well, excuse me but I've added this Dilan series to the list of my favourite Indonesian movies, along with AADC and London Love Story.🙈

Semoga aku ga terus baper kegini.

"Insyaallah. Doain."

😭💔

Till the next post I guess😭

Assalamualaikum 💖

First:

Have you experienced a situation where random people just enter your dream and you can't stop thinking about him/her when you wake up? It just lingers in your mind for who knows how long. At times I'd dream that I have a crush on someone and when I wake up, I still do and the feeling would stay for days. Dreams can affect my emotions that way.

This morning, I don't know why (well I never did) I had a dream about this person. Let's call him A. I haven't been in contact with him for almost a decade now, and I don't think I will ever be. I ran into him awkwardly in the dream, but we had a small talk. All of a sudden the conversations led to this (sort of):

A: Why did you go to that event?
Me: Why? What's wrong with it?
A: I wouldn't have allowed it if you asked for my permission.
Me: *speechless* Look, isn't it up to me wherever it is I want to go?
A: You can't. You always need someone to go with you to social events.

I remember feeling dumbstruck at that unexpected statement. I was triggered when he talked about asking for his permission, because he was no one to me. But when he said the next sentence, I was angry but dumbfounded at how true the statement was. I was like, he couldn't have known me that well in less than a year. I was puzzled.

I know, I know, it's just a dream. Mainan tidur. But that statement alone made me think a lot. I always avoid social events, unless I really have to go, or I'm the one who wants to go. I know myself that well so why I was hurt by what he said, I have no idea. I kind of hate him for appearing in my dream, although I know it's nowhere near his fault.😟

Second:

Yesterday, I went to Big Bad Wolf for the first time in my life and I ended up buying eight novels for myself :') The price range of the books I bought was in between RM10 - RM15 each doh no wonder I saw people bring boxes of books home when they went to BBW. I feel guilty for my already-purchased books that I haven't yet read ugh I promise I'm going to read them this semester break okay!!

8 mine, 8 sis', 2 bro's
Third:

Remember the SolidWorks project that I talked about in the last post? Alhamdulillah, I'm done with it now!! Both the project and final exam! The project consumed so much of my time. I had to do it for our Mould and Die Design course. If I had done it earlier, I probably wouldn't be as stressed out though. The problem was that I didn't understand, yet didn't even bother to find out how in the world I was supposed to continue with the project until Week 13 came. With two of the seniors' help I was able to make progress, but not quite as I still didn't understand the purpose of the project, and why I was supposed to do stuff that way. The seniors were busy helping my other classmates so I couldn't possibly ask them to explain in detail.

Hence my friends and I decided to ask this friend of ours for help since he was almost done with everything. Sis I tell you, if we didn't come to that decision, we'd be crying right now. He helped us understand the project better, and even helped us assemble the components. I can't even express how grateful I feel for his help, so here's an appreciation post to you.

Sorry that I panicked a lot, and thanks for staying calm and helping me when I did. Thanks for being patient and explaining what you said (again and again) when I couldn't seem to understand. Thanks for letting us steal days that you could've been done with the project, just so you could help us with it. That's the thing that I'm most sorry about, yet very thankful for.

Would I have done the same if I was in your place? A day or two, maybe. But days? I would've had to reconsider that, especially if I wasn't even done with my work yet still. I would've wanted to get my work over and done with before I could help others. I'm insufficient like that. That's the reason I'm so very thankful for what you've done.😭

While doing this project, I found that I panicked a lot when things didn't go as planned. It reached a point when I realized that I was about to panic and I was like, "No, not again, please don't panic. Calm down, I beg you." I only panicked a little but I panicked more when I realized that I was panicking. Now I don't know how people with panic attacks handle them doh the attacks must be awful.😰

To end this post, I'm just going to say that I actually named my project 'Sleepless' because of the nights I spent trying to finish it (also in commemoration of the Sleepless In _______ album😂). Let me introduce you to my baby Sleepless now!

Full assembly. It looks simple but man the energy and time it took me :')

A huge thanks to you and my friends who have been helping me from the beginning until the end. We made it, guys. We made it. All the tears will be worth it, insyaallah. I'm praying that all of us pass this course with flying colours, and none will have to repeat this course :') We have three more exams to go now, hwaiting everyone!!

Till the next post!💘

Assalamualaikum 💖

Hello there hehe it's been super loooonngg since I actually talked about something here. It's the toughest semester yet. Two subjects are killing me currently. I'm done with one of them but I still have a project to finish for the other one.😕 I'm actually, really, scared if I fail anything this semester. They're too hard to score and I can't bear to repeat them in the coming semesters. Like NO. The project that I'm doing is based on SolidWorks ugh I'm still struggling with it. It sounded doable and easy during our first lecture, but now I feel like crying because of this. I can already go home right at this instant, but this project is holding me back. It feels impossible for me to do it by myself.

Do I regret not starting the project much earlier? Yes, I do.

I just wanna go homeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

But anyway, Selamat Hari Raya everyone! It's been a week but as long as it's still Syawal the greeting is valid ok haha. My family's theme for this year was maroon. Frankly I disliked my baju raya at first. I only bought it because while going out with my family, I was the only one left who hadn't found anything to wear at the time (this happens every year tbh😂). At one point we found a baju kurung which I wasn't that fond of, but my sisters said that it was pretty. I felt like my family was getting tired of walking around, in and out of shops, and even I was getting tired and annoyed at myself like WHY can't you just find one outfit WHY?! Hence I decided to just take that baju kurung. I didn't like it since I bought it when I was upset at myself, but on the first day of raya I was like "Oh cantik jugak" HAHAHAHA. Dahlah kau mengada je lebih eh.

I thought of writing a short story and post it here, but unfortunately my creativity has long since left my soul. The last time I actually wrote a short story was probably during my SPM days, both in Malay and English hihi. Maybe I'll start something and Idk if it turns out good, I'll post it here. If not, just forget the fact that I even said it in the first place. But even if I were to write one, it's going to have to wait until I manage to find the time to write about what I did last February hehehe I'M SO EXCITED!! Insyaallah I'm going to start with it this coming semester break hehe💖

I think that's about it. I just wanted to make a short update here since I miss blogging so much.😟 Pray for me and wish me luck for this unfinished project and also final exams that are going to start next week!😋

Till the next post!😸

Assalamualaikum 💝

I WENT TO THE SUPER JUNIOR D&E CONCERT!!

A lightstick that I borrowed from a kind ELF

Okay so when it was announced that D&E would be coming to Malaysia, Ain and I were both like 'let's not go ok don't waste any more money on kpop jangan hasut aku lagi' because we just each bought an album (Epik High for me, Park Bom for her) (P.S. legends) at the time. We were reaaaallyy determined to not go to this one.

HOWEVER, two days before the concert, Donghae posted a picture on Instagram saying that he was coming to Malaysia and THIS GIRL just had the nerve to make a story about it and I don't even know why I replied to it and all of a sudden we were questioning (PERSUADING) each other to actually go to the concert???? Like she checked the ticketing website and tickets were still available and we asked for our families' permission and after hours of screaming and a little bit of madness POOF there you go. Two CAT3 tickets bought with less than 48 hours remaining for preparation. 😌

4th May 2019. D-Day.

The weather forecast showed that it was going to rain that day so I brought a raincoat and a cap with me. Met up with Ain at the KTM station and we couldn't stop smiling dude like I kept giggling every now and then. There were a lot of people wearing blue so we assumed that they, too, were going to the concert😂. Anyway, we took the 10:37 a.m. train to KL Sentral, and transferred to another train going to Batu Tiga Station. We reached the station around 1:00 p.m. so we didn't really have hopes for any freebies by then. At the station, though, we bumped into two ELFs in the surau and decided to go to the venue together via GrabCar hehe.

Here goes a funny but not that funny story. Ain and I were excitedly wearing our caps since someone tweeted that it was scorching hot at the Malawati Stadium, where the concert would be held. Nevertheless, the moment the car moved, rain droplets started to fall on the windscreen... We honestly wanted to hide from the driver and the other two ELFs. It wasn't even light rain, it was showering doh haha we kept whatsapp-ing each other since I was in the front seat, exclaiming how embarrassing it was. We ended up taking our caps off at the same time.😂😂

It was still raining when we arrived so we put our raincoats on. We couldn't even take pictures with the standees because of the strong winds.😐 Got our tickets from the ticketing booth and had to squeeze ourselves between human beings under the tents. At that point, there really wasn't a little bit of hope of getting any kind of freebies, but all of a sudden someone was going around giving out her freebies and I was overjoyed because that was the only freebie that we got that day (guess who's feeling grateful? :') ) It probably took an hour or so for us to get in and in that duration I just wanted to get out of there as my clothes were both damp from the rain and sweaty at the same time EWW.

When we could finally move, I started jumping and running around again as the excitement returned! (Even my fingers are excited to type right now😂) Scanned our tickets and went up the stairs to get to our seats on the third floor. I don't know about the other floors but our floor was soooooo dark and I could barely see anything without my flashlight on, and the height of our seats were not helping at all. Aku pulak of course lah gayat ha dah sedar diri sikit sejak naik gunung haritu so elak pandang bawah masa jalan. Our seats were on the second farthest back and right side of the stadium, but it was fine since the view was still satisfying. As we waited for the concert to start, people at the back of our seats moved to the middle zone (a more expensive one) and we followed suit since the zone was barely filled hehe and that's how we managed to upgrade our seats!😂

The ticket and handheld banner

Our new view!
Before the concert started, Ain mentioned about this one ELF sitting next to her having a lot of lightsticks and I don't know if the ELF heard her or not, but she offered to lend us her other lightsticks omg who would say no to that?! That was very kind of her doh I'm still grateful to her until today, as she's the reason that we were able to enjoy the concert even more!💖 If somehow you're reading this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I hope everything goes well for you!

We took the picture in a rush as people started screaming, signalling the start of the concert!

I recorded a lot this time sebab taknak acah feel the moment as I did during the BTOB Fan Meeting last year because I ended up forgetting most of it anyway. Donghae spoke a lot of Mandarin the whole concert and I was like no I don't understand sweetie I'm only a beginner level student in Mandarin :')) The translator didn't translate the Mandarin parts (or did she?) so the only things that I knew were wo ai ni wo hen gaoxing and all that hahaha. He made me feel like studying Mandarin even harder and more diligently from that moment onwards.

The lights were beautiful and I was proud of participating among the blue ocean of lightsticks💙

After the concert, we really didn't want to move from our seats, so we stayed there and took pictures until we heard people blowing whistles, probably asking us to leave haha. I said goodbye to the ELFs sitting beside me and could see how ELFs are the mature fandom who are just kind to each other.

Never forgetting this experience :(

There were a lot of funny moments that I only found out through my videos and other fancams because we were sitting tooooooo far in the back to notice. On our way back to Seremban, I watched the videos that I took and had to stop myself from laughing out loud as my voice was too high-pitched and excited when doing the fanchants, especially during Oppa Oppa. Man it was hilarious! It made me go like 'aw girl you're that excited huh'. 😂

The duration of the whole concert was around 2.5 hours. It felt short, but long enough to keep us content. I don't regret this last-minute decision one bit. It felt nice to finally see Super Junior members (even if only two of them) in front of my own eyes. The feeling was quite different from what I felt with BTOB last year. Like, you know, finally seeing someone whom you've liked for quite a long time, but feeling like you'll keep seeing them in the future. I don't even know why I felt that way but I have high hopes for Super Show now. That's probably the reason why I moved on much faster than when I did with BTOB.😛

The only freebies that I got 😂

Aside from the freebies, we bought D&E lanyards outside the venue after the concert just to add to our poor amount of freebies. 😂 I don't even wear my university lanyard but I was sooo proud of wearing Eunhyuk lanyard all the way back to Seremban. Eunhyuk was my first SJ bias, and I found out that Donghae was Ain's first SJ bias, and now we're both back to having them as our biases. 😝

Eunhyuk for me, Donghae for Ain

Proud to say that my first concert was the D&E Concert.🙈 May we meet again in the future, and that time, with all of the members.💙

Assalamualaikum 💘

First of all, I still feel weird about writing this because it feels like it's still 2018 for me. Wasn't it just a few months ago when I wrote the 2018 new year post? And you're telling me I'm already living in the year 2019? My goodness. Time sure flies. But happy new year everyone!

A quote by Epik High's Tablo. I love it!💕

I noticed that I wrote this last year in this post:

I'm hoping to be able to make a recap post by the end of the year where at the end of the post, I'll say "It's been a great year".😊

I'm pretty late, I'm actually making the recap post exactly a year after I posted that.

So, was 2018 a great year for me? (IT FEELS SO AWKWARD USING THE PAST TENSE) Uh-huh I'm pretty sure it was, since I can't really recall any bad stuff happening. Probably some unfortunate things, but not bad. Thus, I'm going to highlight the four memories from 2018 that I never thought I would make.

The first one would be SUKIPT 2018. I'm a bit proud of this one, since it needed me to break out of my shell to actually be able to attend this event. I was still in my first semester when Aina asked me to tag along, the semester when my homesickness was so severe I would go home even if it was only for a day. For the semester break, I would've expected myself to stay as close to home as possible, but no, I went to UKM for like 10 days instead. I met new people and experienced new things so yes, I definitely enjoyed my stay there!

Next, trips with Ain Syahirah! She had been busy planning for our trips to historical places (we both love history) a.k.a. museums during our second semester break. She actually had a short semester in between so wow job well done dude!😂 Our first trip in July involved going to Islamic Arts Museum, National Planetarium and Malaysian Royal Police Museum. Man I was excited throughout the whole trip as it was my first time making that kind of trip with a friend, to museums at that! In August we went to National Art Gallery after her short semester ended. Mind you, we know nothing much about arts, but we still enjoyed the trip! Hereby, I would like to express my gratitude to you, Ain Syahirah, for being the master planner of our trips, from our journey, to the destinations and the food we had. Here's to more trips with you! (I hope you're not tired of me already😐)

The third moment is when I went mountain climbing with my sisters and cousin. Hiking had always been in my bucket list, yet I never got the courage to make it come true because of my stamina. Whenever the question 'sea or mountain' came up, I would always choose mountain because I had this dream of going hiking up a hill or mountain someday. Aaaanndd I grabbed the opportunity that came on our 61st Independence Day. I'm glad I didn't give up halfway up the mountain because if I did, I wouldn't be able to include it in this post.😂 Nah just kidding, because if I gave up, I might never want to try mountain climbing again. I'm proud of myself.😛

Last but not least, and it's still new and fresh in my mind, going to BTOB Fan Meeting last December 16th. Frankly, I'm scared to continue writing right now as I might get too excited again and write a whole long paragraph about BTOB and how Ilhoon looked at me omg help me! That look he had is still vivid in my mind omg omg omg! By the way, I just want to say that I've 90% moved on from that fan meeting. The first week was too hard for me. I spent my study week listening to their songs, getting emotional, watching their videos, Beatcom, crying some more. I think I'm okay now, although I was upset about them not uploading a video on that fan meeting a few days ago.😂 Again, thanks to Ain Syahirah for purchasing the tickets for both of us! Thank you for creating 2018 memories with me and thank you for taking me to see Jung Ilhoon :')

2018 had been a wonderful year for me. Thank you to my family, friends, acquaintances and everyone who contributed in making my 2018. I love you, stay close, and let's keep pushing forward for a better year this 2019.💖

And yes, my dear younger self, 2018 had been a great year, probably one of my best yet, alhamdulillah.😊

HAPPY NEW YEAR!🎉🎈

Till the next post!🙆
