Assalamualaikum💖
Welp I'm excited to blog about this! Early this week, Ain asked me if I wanted to join her to the Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur and of course, I said yes. I've always been interested in history. Even in secondary school, Sejarah would be the first subject that I would study prior to an exam. I don't know, I just love learning about history, about the stories that happened in the past and the people involved in them. Although I took up science stream for SPM, deep in my heart I'm all for history haha even until now. Man I still remember George Santayana's quote in every Sejarah book back then, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
Anyway, I never really have anyone who would go to museums with me, because really, not all people like history. When I go somewhere with my family and they ask where to go next, I'd be all like "Museum!" hahaha that is expected of me.😛
SO ANYWAY AGAIN HAHA, Ain did some research on the museum and found out that it was close to the National Planetarium and Royal Malaysian Police Museum, so we got even more excited by then! And so last Thursday we embarked on our journey to the museums and planetarium muehehe.
We took the train from Seremban to KL Sentral. Supposedly, we were to take another train to Kuala Lumpur but man the clock's ticking. We didn't want to waste time waiting for the train so we wasted our money instead.😂😂 We booked a GrabCar from KL Sentral to National Arts Museum for only RM5 so I think it's nice.
Right when we arrived, I wanted to scream so bad because the place itself is beautiful! The interior designs just amazed me when we went through the main entrance. We were charged RM7 each for the tickets when we showed our student ID's.

We went separate ways to explore the museum on our own. From now on, I'm just going to include some of the photos that I took at the museum.😂

That's the end of it. Gosh it was hard to pick which photos to upload. We met up afterwards and went to the museum restaurant. We ordered a medium-sized pizza for RM28. Other choices are ala carte menu and this one dish but I don't remember the name.

Next, we walked to the National Planetarium, full of confidence. We walked for quite a while, until we passed the Bird Park and it started to feel weird because we were surrounded by trees. Why would the planetarium be surrounded by so many trees? So we decided to check the Maps app again and it turned out that we were going the wrong way, and so we returned to the IAM and booked a GrabCar to go there.
The car arrived, we boarded, and we were speechless because the place was very near to the IAM. We were supposed to go through the back door of the IAM instead of the main entrance to get there, and that's why we got lost. But honestly, I was kind of glad we took the GrabCar because if not, we would've had to climb a hell lot of stairs.😝

Later on, we went for the Journey to a Billion Stars show. Aw the theatre hall was so calming I almost fell asleep. It was so hard to keep myself awake throughout the show. Not because it was boring, but it was that comfortable haha.

Afterwards we took a walk to the Malaysian Royal Police Museum and on our way we found this Narnia-looking place.

We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the museum. That got me complaining almost the whole time because there we so many interesting stuff in there! The most memorable one for me was at the Bukit Kepong section because there was a mannequin placed beneath the floor. Man, my heart nearly jumped out of its place.

That concludes my trip to KL with Ain. I honestly had a lot of fun during the trip, so thanks for being my museum buddy. Till our next museum trip, aight?😜
Till the next post!💓
