A Week in a Post

Assalamualaikum💖

I'm finally done with my final exams last Thursday! The last paper was Polymer Chemistry which was the hardest subject for me. I almost lost it and my heart was practically begging and screaming for it to be over. But mostly it was because all my roommates had gone home at the time and I was the only one left. The room was so empty with only some of my stuff left. It was too quiet without the quarrels, screams and laughter from my roommates. Furthermore, I was left with this on my whiteboard.

Can you imagine how strong my urge was to go home? Looking at the board made it 10 times stronger.😪 They're just so sweet I'm going to miss them for sure.

Before the last two papers, I had a few days gap so I went home. On Monday, my form 6 classmates suddenly suggested that we go to meet our teachers the next day (Tuesday). I think I was making my last-minute notes at that time.

At first I was like 'Nooo I got an exam on Wednesday I can't possibly go!'

The next moment I became like YOLO when will you ever see your teachers again together with your classmates 에라 모르겠 just go!😝

And that's how I decided to go and see my teachers. Everyone was already done with their final exams (this also contributed to my strong urge to go back home) and all of them questioned why I wasn't in Shah Alam when my next paper was tomorrow haha. But never mind that, I was excited to see these kids again! The last time we saw each other was before we entered university, and honestly I never thought I'd miss them. 😩

All of my teachers except for one have transferred to another school so that's all the more reason that I was willing to sacrifice my time studying just to see them. After meeting the teachers, we grabbed ourselves some ice cream and lepak some more, then went to see our other teacher who's still in our old school.

I was happy to see them although some couldn't make it, and definitely got motivated to finish my exams faster.😂😂

Done with that! Let's move on to another thing.

I'm a big fan of the Maze Runner movies, and I had been waiting for so long for The Death Cure to come out. It came out on the same day of my last exam but I didn't get to watch it until last Saturday.

WARNING:
SPOILER AHEAD.
READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

After almost three years of waiting, I'm definitely not disappointed with this final piece of Maze Runner. I cried guys. Like seriously, I did. I might have been too into the storyline or whatever, but it broke me that Newt died after just meeting Minho.

To give a very honest review, this movie's got a great beginning and ending (to me). There were a few predictable scenes (not many) but also plot twists, like when Gally turned out to be the guy who saved them. But right after Newt died, things got a little havoc and some of the scenes made me feel like 'meh'. The ending was superb though, the letters got me crying again.😭💔

But then again, there are more pros than cons to this movie. After just watching the movie, I rated it 10/10, but now I'd give it 9/10 after thinking it through. I'd still recommend this movie to everyone! Like I said, I'm not disappointed at all with this final piece: The Death Cure.💖

(Might even consider buying the book series now)

Till the next post!💓
